THE #BABISHAI2016 LONGLIST is testimony to the variety, inventiveness
and boldness of African poets. The wide range of themes and subject
matter, the exploration to new heights and the intricate and intimate
spaces between the verses is all the more reason to continue celebrating
our poets and their works.
